Hello girls & boys, what's happening these days? I hope you are healthy and beautiful as always.
Today let's talk about something that can be a bit serious: COVID-19.
Since the outbreak of the new coronavirus 2019 worldwide, TTDeye has been constantly paying attention to the development of the epidemic. In this difficult time, the health and safety of you and our employees are always the priorities that concern us.
Here are the most frequently asked questions we receive from you these days: Can I wear colored contact lenses despite the coronavirus outbreak? How do I protect myself from COVID-19 while wearing contact lenses? Is it safer to wear glasses than contact lenses?
To answer these questions, the first thing we want to emphasize is: DO NOT PANIC, BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT EITHER. The good news is: yes, you can wear colored contact lenses safely by following these instructions :
1. Always wash your hands carefully and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before handling your contact lenses, whether you are putting them on, taking them off, or cleaning them with solution. After washing your hands, do not forget to dry them with unused paper towels.
2. Do not touch your face with unwashed hands, including your eyes, nose, and mouth. Especially when you are handling contact lenses or when you are outside.
3. Disinfect your lenses frequently with professional disinfecting solution and washed hands.
4. Never share or use someone else's contact lenses. Even if they seem healthy, contact lenses can spread germs that cause inflammation or viruses that have not been inspected.
5. Stop wearing contact lenses when you are sick. As with other illnesses, when you feel unwell with cold or flu symptoms, stop wearing lenses.
6. Glasses are not safer than contact lenses. There is no scientific evidence that wearing glasses provides protection against the transmission of COVID-19 or other viruses.
In addition to good hygiene when using contact lenses, there are more things we would like to discuss with you: the basic protective measures against the new coronavirus, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) .

1. Wash your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or with soap and water, as they can kill viruses that may be on your hands.
2. Maintain a social distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet), especially when someone coughs or sneezes. Because the small droplets that spray can contain viruses, and if you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets.
3. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing with a flexed elbow or with a tissue or mask, dispose of the used tissue immediately and wash your hands.
4. Stay home if you do not feel well. If you have a fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention in a timely manner. Inform your doctor of any recent travel or contact with travelers.
5. Avoid traveling to areas where COVID-19 is spreading. If necessary, take care of yourself with these mentioned protective measures.
Another question that you are most concerned about is when to wear a mask . Here are our suggestions:

1. Wear a mask when you cannot maintain a social distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet). For example, in a subway, bus, train, airplane, and other means of transportation.
2. Wear a mask when you cough or sneeze.
3. Wear a mask if you are caring for someone suspected of being infected with 2019-nCoV.
4. Masks are only effective if combined with frequent hand washing with an alcohol-based solution or with soap and water.
5. If you need to wear a mask, learn how to use and dispose of it correctly. These are WHO instructions on how to wear a mask :
1. Before putting on a mask, wash your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer or with soap and water.
2. Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and ensure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
3. Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, wash your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer or with soap and water.
4. Change your mask as soon as it becomes damp and do not reuse single-use masks.
5. To remove the mask: take it off from behind (do not touch the front of the mask); dispose of it immediately in a closed bin; and wash your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer or with soap and water.
The above video and instructions on how to use a mask are cited from the World Health Organization (WHO) .
Don't worry that the face mask would obstruct your fashionable makeup. The key point is to emphasize your beautiful eyes with our colored contact lenses. Click here to see the latest mask style from our friends on Instagram!
We always care about the safety and health of our community, and also of our employees. Here is the attention to TTDeye employees under the COVID-19 epidemic :

1. Work from home. While the new coronavirus was spreading in our work cities, we chose to let our employees work from home to avoid the risks of infection.
2. Provide a safe workplace. When the epidemic stabilizes, we prepare our workplace for work with the following measures: distribute face masks every day, track the body temperature of each employee, disinfect surfaces and objects regularly, provide hot water and hand sanitizer, promote employees to wash their hands frequently and thoroughly, etc.
3. Reimbursement of medical expenses. For those employees who do not feel well, TTDeye sends them to the hospital reimbursing their expenses, and also counts this time as sick leave.
Fortunately, with our constant effort, none of our employees have been infected with the new coronavirus, which is why we could maintain a stable supply during this crisis. It was a great challenge for us, but with all your support and love, we achieved it.

No matter where you are, in the area where COVID-19 is spreading, or where no confirmed case of this disease has been reported, we hope you can protect yourself with the mentioned measures and the suggestions from the local public health authority. Do not be afraid, the new coronavirus is not that horrible, with all our efforts, we will overcome it and welcome the dawn of a great victory. When that moment comes, we wish you to smile with the most impressive and powerful eyes.
Let’s fight COVID-19 shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow, until the day we win together!
